According to Chief Deputy Tony Bacala, 22-year-old Lewis Sanchez of Denham Springs and 18-year-old Joshua Perez of Gonzales were in a vehicle with three other men when an argument broke out and shots were fired. As a result of the gunfire, Sanchez was killed and Perez was seriously wounded
Kevin Sheppard, 23, of Prairieville is wanted for First Degree Murder, Attempted First Degree Murder, Carrying of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Illegal Use of Weapons, and Illegal Carrying of Weapons.
Sheppard’s record includes 13 prior arrests and a conviction for Principal to Simple Robbery in Lafayette where he was sentenced in October of 2011 to three years of probation.

I wonder what the argument was about? Politics?

It's obvious the car was on it's way to EBR and the gun accidentally went off in Ascension. He was a good kid who never hurt nobody.

Ascension needs to set up border checkpoints to keep all these ebr thugs out of here. They are a bad influence
