Brpd has some scum bags. I had my nose broken by one. But of course they got the officer out of there and wouldn't give me his name or badge number. My brother was also shaken down for protection money. I wanted to go to IA, but one cop mentioned you have to be careful because other officers would find out and may not help you if you really need it.

I've had similar incidents twice. Cops claimed I looked like I was on drugs after I told them I was nervous and scared. They used that as an excuse to bring in the dog to sniff my car. Dog never barked or scratched or anything, yet they claimed the dog hit all over so they cuffed me and searched my car. Cop said they were looking for pounds of drugs, they found nothing. He said he's had a lot of people lately say they were nervous and scared and he couldn't understand why. Its these kinds of incidents that really make me hate cops more and more. I'm just a quiet white guy, there's no reason to harass me like that.

It's a shame that it's a dog eat dog world even in positions that are supposed to be helpful to citizens. I know some good cops so seeing shite like this sucks; however, I also know there are a some out there that are like this with a power trip meat head mentality. Thing is, you aren't always going to get the best of the best because it's not like they make a ton of money and they have to deal with a lot of BS. Either way, most certainly not an excuse for the way this shite was handled at the varsity.

The sad part is far too many cops are like norman and will do anything to protect the bad apples. A good cop silent on bad cops is just as bad as the actual bad cop. BRPD is full of them

Yeah its a shitty line of work, but that's why they frick with younger people. They don't want to mess around in the hood areas and give a lot of shite to people that look around collgeg age. Some good ones out there, but some are criminals.
I also was arrested for DWI in 2010. But I got it dropped. Officer fricking falsified the police report. Dumbass, camera showed complete opposite of what he had reported.

I went to school with the one cop that was stealing drugs and money in the narcotics unit. Hadn't seen him in years until I saw the news. Looked like he aged about 50 years in 20. Sometimes I wonder if they change the system if it'll help curb some of the crime within the department. Idk what needs to be done, but it certainly seems like this kind of shite has been happening at lot more recently.
