well. Someone can accuse you of anything. But unless you are proven guilty, you aren't guilty.

Ever seen the movie "The Natural". Cleat chasers are crazy.

I know he wasn't convicted, point is if you're going to assert without proof that Mariota was doing more than speeding (which the article did do) then you can't also fail to assert that Jameis was actually guilty...

To be fair, they have to deflect a lot to remove the distraction of having a ton of criminals on the team.

Gator fans had to do this a lot during the Meyer era.

Exactly, its not like Jamies is the only criminal on their squad.

According to Jameis Winton's testimony in his hearing with the former Chief Justice of the Florida State Supreme Court, when asked about whether his accuser gave consent, he stated yes. When asked what he based his answer on, he stated, "She moaned."

frick that guy. He's a piece of shite. Straight up.

Spare me the Clintonian Defene angle, Cochran. He fricking raped a girl, his attorney posted her name on Twitter, his friends who witnessed it obstructed justice by refusing to cooperate and the Tallahassee PD essentially obstructed justice and botched the investigation conveniently. The school took two years to pursue this and many other charges.

frick. That. Guy.

He raped her? I guess the Tallahassee PD, the State Attorney General's Office, and a retired Florida Supreme Court Justice are just missing the boat.

Fwiw, the school hearing to determine whether he violated the school's conduct policy has a burden of proof which only requires a preponderance of the evidence. He still wasn't found to have violated the conduct policy.

I know lawyers enjoy getting the last word. Please continue if you like. But I have no use for the idiocy angle that Legal Zoom Shapiro and the other hucksters in your "profession" would trot out.

Smoke=fire. Moaning ain't consent. Women being raped can actually have an orgasm. Proven fact brah. As I said, spare me the Clintonian defense angle. I have no need of help from you in reducing my appreciation for attorney's. I can achieve that without you trying to plead a case to me here on TD.

By all means though, respond and tell me something pithy or smartass. I'm sure it's gonna make you feel better or whatever. Last word's yours, counselor.

Don't be foolish. Of course moaning doesn't necessarily mean consent, but it doesn't prove rape either.

You obviously are biased against attorneys, which is sad. I'm sorry your experience(s) with them made you so bitter.

Why is this ridiculous? He didn't say she moaned between frantic bouts of screaming "no". You've never had things escalate with a girl without a "Do you consent to this?", "yes, I do." exchange? I don't care what liberal bullshite says, in absence of a struggle or verbalizing that she doesn't want something, common sense says a moan is consent.

I have several good friends and family who practice. No problems with them or others. There are good & bad in the profession. Just as there are in any profession and in the human race.

Oh and re: preponderance of evidence, it's based on what evidence was gathered when and using what types of techniques and you know you get the best when you follow up quickly and efficiently.

The timeline here was anything but quick and efficient.

shite in shite out and we know TPD sat on their damn hands as they knew who the accuser was naming and who it was. There is a pattern of those LEO being aware of whom FSU players are. The preponderance of evidence against their investigatory and evidence gathering techniques is well documented.

Please stop acting like Winston wasn't shielded from the law using shady tactics.

frick. That. Guy.

Please stop acting like you care about this cleat-chasing girl or think Winston is a threat to society. You can just admit you don't like Florida State and would be entertained by their quarterback getting jailed.
