I mean, seriously, what's next? We gonna reboot Little Shop of Horrors?

I understand they're shooting a new Gone with the Wind, starring Halle Berry as Scarlett O'Hara and Billy Dee Williams as Rhett Butler.

Can't remember where they were located. You really should read more. I've read at least 5 articles on the controversy in the last 10 years.

Maybe he could have played the Barack the Magic Negro song while he cut to commercial break to make his stance on race a little bit clearer.

Wow, you really are showing your ignorance.

I mean, can you really see people going "FINALLY! The modern update to Annie we've all been waiting for. I can't wait for next year's Cabaret in Space."

And Rosie O'Donnell as Prissy was an interexting choice.

I disagree. And I have listened to Rush on and off since 1988. When he does what you say he is doing, he's actually very good at it and it's often funny (or at least it used to be).

Is Rush always this stupid?

If you have been listening for so long, can you not answer your own question?

A reincarnation of American History X is coming down the pipeline. Roles are reversed. The shower scene will not be pretty.

Several times a year, Rush will say something clever and insightful. But not clever and insightful enough for me to sit through a year's worth of poorly researched facts and micharacterized statements waiting for it.

The Bond franchise is full of fun, mindless crap films. Lightweight as the films are, I still find them considerably better than Fleming's books. Just an opinion.

I hope Rev. Sharpton gains back the weight so he can play Rush in the biopic.

You do realize that the song was done in a response to an op-ed written by an AA writer complaining that Obama was no authentically black?

If they want a black Bond they should just start a new line of Bonds....Maybe do a black James Bond Jr.

But don't just change the character of a wih no logical explanation.

I wouldn't mind the change as long as they make his character keep the same UK suaveness and don't try to throw in black stereotypes or anything.

I mean the current bond has blond hair which is pretty different than all the other bonds.

Might as well. Already have a white Moses and white Jesus in recent movies.

That would go over real well I am sure.

Kind of surprised I haven't heard more crap from his kind about the black Annie movie.

Why do we need to have a black James Bond or a black Annie?

James Bond and Little Orphan Annie were supposed to be white and to make them black is stupid.

it's getting horrible reviews, which I'm kind of shocked is happening.

It deserves to get horrible reviews.

I read that in the movie when the black Annie was called an orphan she replied that she was a foster child not an orphan since her parents who dumped her off somewhere were still alive.

Also, the black Annie doesn't have red hair.

The movie was changed to modernize it but they still could have had a white Annie with red hair.

Some iconic white movie characters should not be changed into black characters.

These white movie characters are part of the white culture.

Oh. I forgot.

The white culture is evil so we are changing all of the white movie characters into black movie characters.

You're right. I forgot that entertainment is based on what we "need".

I am sure they didn't have a clue, it is always easy to tell those that have never listened to the show, and are just spouting off tidbits they got second hand. Context is critical with Rush's show, if you miss one word the whole meaning can be lost.
