They add 7-10 acts every year. I believe there are 63 total acts on the current lineup. Given there were 76 total last year you can expect about the same number of additions again this year. That number will be higher if you include the pre-party acts

I listened to a bunch of the hangout bands on spotify who are not as known to me. I came away with a feeling that I'm about to have a blast! The mid/low tier bands are awesome!!

keys played hangout last year... pretty underwhelmed by their set.

I should elaborate on why I like the Hangout lineup more:
If you're a fan of live improvisational music with amazing musicians, then the one you posted is definitely a better lineup. There are some great, great musicians who are going to play awesome live sets.
If I'm wanting to see some bands that I really like and whose music has interested me in the last few years (as in appeared on my year end best of lists), then I think hangout is more up my alley.
For festivals, I'm really not into eating a bunch of psychedelics and having my mind blown by heady jams anymore. I want to go, chill, heard some cool tunes, see a variety of bands I've never gotten to see before and cross them off my list.
If I want my face melted, I'll buy a ticket to a specific band instead.
