Punch someone. No. Have learned that just tends to break the hands.

Smacked someone into a stationary object and/or the ground? Yes. Self defense all the way though.

Well yeah. If they were walking and minding their own business and got jumped, they're not trashy. But if someone is at the bar and gets in a guy's face for "looking at (his) girl wrong" then that's trashy as hell. Can't tell you how many times I saw that in college.

No but sometimes I wish I do. Fighting for guys can sometimes quickly solve a bullshite dispute and end it there.

It's sometimes much better than this talk it out stuff that often just leaves everyone brooding and holding back anger for much longer.

I'm not talking about drunken trailer park brawls but just a good fistfight between men who need to settle a few things.

LSU away game at Auburn. we were getting pizza and some Auburn fans were butt hurt about losing to LSU. I didn't start it, some auburn guys started swinging at my buddy in line. Ended up being a pretty interesting 4 or 4 brawl, it was actually pretty funny situation. I remember one of the Auburn guys just yelling war eagle over and over as fist were flying. The kitchen staff of the pizza joint jumped the counter and cleared everybody into the street. the fight stopped for a second, then started back up again on the side walk. Kind of dumb, but it was the last one I've been in, I wasn't close to 30 yet, so I don't feel too bad about it.

I had a few friends in college get in a fist fight over something stupid. After the fight, they cleaned themselves up and we went to the bar and had a good time that night. Never had any issues with what they were arguing about ever again.

Honestly, at 30 years old I rarely find myself in a situation where fighting would be productive, or even a resolution to a problem.

I understand the concept of a good old fashion fight where someone wins and both people walk away relatively fine, but at this age I don't fight with my friends anymore, work disputes never reach that level, and I don't really get into confrontations in public at all.

I guess if you're an adult in a relatively sophisticated place, and you're not getting drunk and belligerent a lot, the chances go way down.

This was an actual conversation I had with a guy who tailgated me into a parking lot and then got out of his truck...

Him: "Youre gonna get someone fricking killed!!!"

me: "Cool, although you had a stop sign, not me"

Him: "YOU WANNA frickING BET!?!?!"

me: "No, not really"

Him: "Well just so you know, if you would have hit my truck, Id have had to kick your fricking arse"

Me: "Ok, thanks"

Im thinking to myself, what a horrible idea. If this guy is beating people that, in his mind, cause his wrecks, how is he able to properly get their insurance company to pay for his damages. He was also in the passenger seat which i found odd.

A couple because of drunk friends getting into shite at bars late at night. Never once because of me at all.

I hate conflict.

It's a pretty huge line really. These days, I'd actively avoid a fight if one came looking, unless it was for property or safety. I'm not going to Fulton County jail for fricking pride or bravado

I'm scared if I got into a fight I'd pull or strain something and not be able to play golf 2-3 times a week for a while.

I've never been in a fist fight in my life. I do not let my emotions get the best of me and don't hang out with dumbasses.

Fighting at 30 is a lose/lose for me. First, even if I win the fight any type of legal fall out would likely result in me being fired from my job. Color me a puss if I don't want to get physical over some BS. All of the above would still be possible if I lost the fight, in addition to getting my arse beat.

i read a study one time that said men who are more prone to fighting have a smaller penis than those that don't. Its no different than the small yapping dog always wanting to fight, its a compensation mechanism.
