I wouldn't be pissed about it, but I certainly think a pass rusher and/or O-line would be better suited. We need a CB more honestly.

I would be pretty livid if we wasted a high pick on the safety spot when the O line and D line need serious upgrades.

The draft is a bit overrated by fans. It is not as much about filling holes as it is about infusing talent.
However this one would make very little sense. Gotta go OLine, DLine, CB, LB. shite, I would rather an elite WR before a Safety.

Yeah. I do it too, but fans seriously overrate the draft in terms of impact. Like I said, you fill your needs in Free Agency as best you can, then you try to find the Best Available Talent at positions that make sense for the team.

It makes a ton of sense. Payton moved kv to a slot type role. His tackling has become pretty bad and has not been a huge difference maker int he run game nor even passing game. Having Collins as a true SS and Byrd back there can rejuvenate a lot of functions of the D.

Sweet. We will take a safety known more for tackling than his coverage. And, another guy who will prolly rather cheer on Bama than have a good game Sunday. What could possibly go wrong?
