Is there an easy way to tell the difference between coyote tracks

and a dog? I'm thinking no, but just wondering. I've seen some 'dog' tracks with pretty long nails around the house. Need to go set out the game camera, but just wondered if the OB had any insight.

Look at the two middle nails. Coyote will almost form a v with the nails coming very close. Dog will be more splayed. Easy and almost always accurate.
