Well any man trying to weigh 135 is going to miss weight, that is a womans weight class.

I hate weight cutting so much. Fighters should have to weigh in right before they get in the cage and lets say they have a 5 pound window. so LHW can be like 205-210. If guys want to dehydrate themselves right before a fight they will be at a gigantic disadvantage.

That could risk cancelling a fight literally minutes before it's scheduled though. Besides, dumbasses would still cut too much.

If a fighter wants to be that selfish so be it. make him lose a significant portion of his purse. Something like 70 percent of it if he misses weight. This whole thing where guys are trying to make a weight class 20 pounds below their normal weight is not right. Hell have a doctor check the fighters in the back before the fight and see if they need liquids. Cutting weight needs to go.

The current way of cutting weight is fine because no matter what it will happen, they just need to make the penalties for missing way worse.

Have like a 2 or 3 strike rule. If you are consistently getting injured in training you need to change something. It is devastating the sport and cards when you can't count on a champ making a fight.

Apparently one of the fighters is "sick". In others he cut too much weight and couldn't rehydrate well enough overnight
