Damn Rumble is methodical, like a machine. Reminds me of a certain boxer at this weight. I wanted Alex to win too. Can't wait for the Jones/Rumble fight!

I'm not an MMA expert, but after watching clips of both fighters and seeing that Rumble was the underdog, I said I would bet big on the underdog if in Vegas. Loved it.

Sure you did. That's why you came and posted about it before the fight.

Difference is Daiju Takase is a natural MW. Clementi is a natural LW who beat a natural LHW

I thought the exact same thing but no one is really saying anything. There are a few youtube videos calling it a headbutt.

It wasn't the headbutt that hurt him, it was his right hand. If you go back and watch the overhead angle its clear it was the punch. Gus had just poked him in the eye, the ref gave him time, they touched gloves and the kick Gus threw was kind of cheap IMO because he did it a nano-second after they touched gloves and Johnson countered it perfectly with the right. If Gus had touched gloves and took a step back before resuming like most fighters do he would have been fine but he tried to be cheap twice, the fast kick on the restart and the eye poke, and it cost him the fight.

Looked to me like he cracked him with that right. I noticed that quick kick after the glove touch. Rumble made him pay for that.

Watching live last night I definitely thought the kick that Gus threw was cheap

I can't believe nobody mentioned it but that is probably because the counter was so perfect. I think that and the eye poke pissed Rumble off a ton which is why he literally swung so hard he came off of his feet.

Rich was a fatass, not a heavyweight

In fight shape he is 170 pounds. He cuts. Normal amount of weight for lightweights

He just likes to eat and Inbetween fights (aka, out of shape) he gets fat and heavy

Jones last fight at LHW should be Rumble, whom Jones will destroy

He will have essentially cleared out the division after Rumble. Gustafson is not getting a rematch any time soon

He's got Rumble and a rematch with DC or Rumble if they have a war, by then I am sure there will be new contenders. If not maybe Shad and by then there will for sure be some new contender.

it's crazy how fat these guys can get so quickly. Their bodies can fluctuate in no time.

Hendricks' belly gets fat & Rumble's face gets fat

Ya I read Hendricks gets up to 220+ and if you look at his fat pics I 100% believe it.
