How does dos anjos match up well with Pettis? He has better bjj than melendez but even worse wrestling so he's left standing with average standup against a killer.

I don't think RDA matches up very well with Pettis. I think RDA & Pettis both have styles that match up well for a fun fight. Pettis wins 8-out-of-10, but that's why they fight.

I just don't want Khabib to turn the LW division into the smotherfest (what GSP did to the WW division for so many years). So delay the inevitable I guess.....

I couldn't say anything at the time, but CM Punk was just the start

Why even waste time cutting weight in a gimmick match with no title implication

I've seen this before in WCW and the Luchador invasion of 1997.

La Parka, Mil Mascaras, El Santo Jr are gonna wreak havoc on the 6 man tag team division of Bellator

Probably the biggest fight between 2 undefeated fighters that I can ever remember.

I've been watching MMA since a few years before the UFC, and this is about the best/closest big time match up I've ever seen. It's top 5...I hope it lives up to the hype.

Mil Mascares still wrestles at 75

and it's El Hijo del Santo; not Santo Jr... and he never wrestled in WCW.. funny otherwise

I had a friend that lived in Brazil and he would send me VHS tapes of Brazilian MMA fights..I had tapes of many stars before they were stars, like Vanderlei Silva and Marco Ruas. Also had many quasi-MMA videos with modified rules, like no elbows, knees, punches when on the ground. There were some Gracies in these videos, including Rickson.

No, just not prehistoric.

If you only knew how many times I've heard people say they've been a fan "since UFC 1", you would understand my skepticism.

Your story along with your mention of Marco Ruas and Vanderlei make you sound believable.

I got into it around summer 06, so I guess UFC 61.

For me it was around 2001 when I got really into it.

I've been a member of sherdog since early 2003.... Not that that's something to be proud of.
