Cormier is going to walk through Jones' punches put him up against the cage and clench/dirty box him. Don't see him trying for takedowns (unless he gets in trouble) until maybe the late rounds. Jones is going to suffer the first actual loss of his career.

Have to bet Cormier in this one. I give him the edge as the superior wrestler anyway.

I would set the line at DC -135, Jones +115.

At +140, it's a no brainer value bet on DC all the way.

The funniest part of this is Rogan slows down JJ less than a rice paper condom

Sorta off topic, but the UFC HW division has gotten embarrassingly weak and boring.

Really makes me miss the days of Pride and even Strikeforce with all the great heavyweights in their prime. Fedor, Big Nog, Silvia, Cro-Cop, Barnett, Arona, Coleman, Couture, Werdum, Cormier, and on and on.

Now you have Cigano and Cain and that is it. Werdum is #3 and he is probably past his prime at almost 38 now. I mean frick, Mark Hunt is #5 in the current HW rankings and he is a 10-9 who has lost 5 of his last 8, and peaked over a decade ago. Hell, Arvloski the #7 HW in the world right now.

Unreal how weak and shallow the division is now. Two great fighters, a pretty good one, then whatever.

Yeah, not Joe Rogan. And the farks on that guy were almost as good as the incredulous cormier ones

re-watching that Jones/Cormier TV spot gave me a great fricking idea.

Cormier has a son. Jones has daughters.

Imagine they grow up and frick. Then get married.

that's a great goddamn sitcom.

I hope UFC puts it together when these two have their fighting days end.

Nick Diaz v. Evangelista Cyborg for Strikeforce Belt

Hope we see a version of Diaz that is somewhere close to this.

He is #3 in the rankings.

And he is only interim champ.

And JDS is number 2 and would beat Werdum.

Looking at the UFC rankings and Rafael Dos Anjos has jumped Nurmagomedov to take the #1 contender spot in the LW division.

Pettis vs. RDA will probably sell more tickets and generate more of a buzz.

NGDV beat RDA earlier this year, guessing he'll be out of action quite a bit longer.

Pat Cummins breaks in at 15.

On the topic of the HW division, a guy that interests me is Todd Duffee. If he could stay healthy and keep fighting, perhaps he could do some damage/contend for a title.

Oh and hopefully the Reem gets back on track. Would like to see him fight Junior Cigano.

Khabib is still recovering; next in line after Dos Anjos barring anything crazy.

Yeah, Dana said RDA is next since Khabib is still out for several more months. I'm more interested in RDA/Pettis first anyways. Those 2 match-up well. Khabib would smother Pettis imo. He'd probably hold that belt for a long time too....

I'd say it is just as likely that he wigs out and does not show again.

45% Anderson Silva chews up that version of Nick Diaz.
