Saw someone run a car halfway off Airline Hwy this morning. Then before he took a right @ Highland...he acted like he was going to do it again.
Have License Plate # and vehicle description.

You willing to follow him until the cops can find him, then show up in court after signing a sworn statement? If so, then it's not pointless I guess.

Also, snitches get stitches

If the cops don't straight up laugh at you, they'll listen then hang up

Basically, yes. Saw some guy on I-10 once swerving so badly he almost hit 3 different cars in about 30 seconds. Called it in and cops at first seemed annoyed, then said they were sending a unit, so I followed him and stayed on the phone. He realized he was being followed, pulled off the I-10 and parked at a gas station. He just stayed in the car and I stayed behind him for about 20 minutes. No cops ever showed. Finally the dude gets out of his car, stumbles over and asks what the frick is up. I told him I was a cop and was waiting for him to start his ignition so I could arrest him. He walked his keys over and handed them to me and then went to sleep. I put his keys on the bumper and left. CSB.

Better thread might be to ask if anyone has been contacted because they were reported.

Call cops and say his inspection sticker was expired, that will get their attention.

Usually.

But one time we were headed to NO on I-10 on the Bonnet Carre when I look to my left and I see a Cadillac headed to NO...on the other side of the interstate. Dude was going 60 or so. I called LSP and they were like "LOL WUT?" and just kept me on the line.

Pretty soon traffic coming out of Kenner toward this dude dried up. When we dropped into Kenner over the rise I look over to the left and there are a dozen cop cars blocking westbound 10 and waiting for this guy..

LOL

Let's get this straight:

You see a possible misdemeanor crime in progress and call it in. Good on you. Snitches get stitches.

You then proceed to commit a felony offense by impersonating a peace officer. Good on you. Indeed CSB.

I was next to an impatient driver at a red light on Perkins, He peels off running the red light and 3 blocks later pulls into Trader Joes parking lot, obviously I followed and he smiled and waved to me as he meandered into the store, it was a WTH? and a Oh well moment.

OK, some thread drift...

Has it become a thing in thug culture to cross over three lanes of traffic at the last second? I've been noticing it more and more. This morning almost got tagged by one.

I've witnessed this terrible driving habit from every demographic, its probably just more bad drivers during the holiday

Be a man, and serve up a dish of street justice for that gentleman.

Don't snitch, though.

Call the cops and tell them it was a black male with a car full of dogs. That should work.

Sometimes reporting people does not end up how you like. On the I-10 bayway, we were at a stand still and I noticed an arse wipe college kid driving on the shoulder passing everyone so I eased half way on to the shoulder where he couldn't get by. I was in a shitty mood and he caught me just right. He called a cop and got busted himself for passing on the right and having weed in his car. Traffic cleared up about the same time he was sent on his way.

That's pretty open to interpretation, but I call and report illegal driving all the time.

Did it this morning crossing the causeway at some idiot with no hazards on, in the left lane battling some sort of mechanical issue going 15 MPH.
