Don't get too watch too many games, so can the board explain to me what has happened to Ryno on the road this season?

Granted, it's just a 26-game sample size -- 14 road and 12 home.

Home: .465 FG%, .412 3P%
Road: .389%, .278 3P%

Anderson still has the second-highest off rating (110.3) of any regular rotation players, but these numbers concern me.

i wonder how well his back holds up to travel. i would doubt that could have that much to do with it, but i'm not sure. his shot has looked flat all year, though.

Good info!

The great thing about ryno is that he'll keep shooting regardless. So, hopefully, these road trends go up.

I don't know what to think of Ryno. His shooting slump from 3 concerns me, but he really has added more to his offensive game with the post scoring. At first the post moves seemed awkward and forced when he was the only scoring option, but that new spin move off the dribble is nice and he looks like he's getting better at that fade away. If his 3 point shot goes back to normal he'll be even better than before.

It's not just Anderson either. All of the major minutes guys, save Davis, see precipitous drops in shooting %s on the road v at home. Davis, because he is a freak, jumps from 53% at home to 60% on the road.

Per 100 possessions, they get 112 points at home, good enough to lead the league in almost every year but this one (the Mavs are an ungodly 113 overall and 117 at home). On the road, the Pelicans get 103 points per 100 possessions. That actually still keeps them middle of the pack in the league.

The problem is the defense sucks at home and is abominable on the road. 105.8 points per 100 possessions allowed at home (would be 23rd overall). 109 on the road (27th overall).

If they want to win this season, the defense needs to really tighten up or they need to play to outscore everyone like Dallas does.
