Moving my son into his apartment in BR tomorrow and was thinking of watching the basketball game. Are decent tickets available outside the P-Mac?

Dude have you ever been to a game? Decent tickets would be available if we played Kentucky

Yes, there will be a host of people looking to sell near the tiger cage/statue. Even if you can't buy great tickets, the ushers have been cool about letting folks basically sit wherever they want as long as they aren't bugging anyone or stealing seats.

Haven't been to a game basketball in the P-Mac since 1987. Now football and baseball is a different story.

As to the people with actual advice, Thanks

1. plenty are available online or at the ticket office before the game

2. Bring a couple of new toys and you and you son get in "free"

No need to deal with the guys selling tickets outside

Are the seats for the toys up high? Would rather sit down low? Doubt they're going to be a lot of people there so if'n we can migrate it's a good deal but not if we're sitting in the rafters

I graduated in 87, went to lots of games while I was here. Moved away for work and come down for as many football and baseball games as possible. Unfortunately I'm > 10 hours away.

I hit all LSU events up in NW Arkansas when the Tigers are in town. As to knowledge of how tickets are available, some places have cracked down on sales outside the stadium so I asked a simple set of questions.

Some people gave answers, you decided to make comments. I got what I needed.

What I would do is go out in front of pmac, on side facing stadium. Stay away from the "non-family" looking guys. They all run a big profit ring on tickets. Do not buy from them unless desperate. I wouldn't be surprised if someone Gave you and son free tickets. Either way don't pay more than $5 a ticket. There will be tons available

You have to realize that a large % on here are angry and sexually frustrated kids with no life and no girlfriend; not much of anything except their Computer, X-Box the Rant. (And a large % those kids are the Rant Pumps that latch on to the LSU football team and defend it tooth and nail.

THEY MAD. (And it shows in their immature dealing with others on this board)
