Graham's TD/Non TD

Opinion thread: Was it a touchdown or not?
I say he crossed the goal line=Touchdown

Was reviewed and upheld.
Looked like a pretty easy call to me. Doesn't matter what I think though...
edit:
the ball only needed to cross the plane. They didn't show both the angle where you could see the ball over the plane and where the ball started to come out. That would be the only thing that in my mind would have ruled it a fumble. That view on the line looked pretty conclusive to me that the ball crossed the line.

It was a touchdown, and his forward progress had stopped.
The fumble should never have mattered due to the aforementioned two things.
Bad call. We got hosed but also couldn't get out of our own way.
Par for the course this year.

But was it a TD? Changed the momentum and gifted the Falcons the game IMHO.

Even if it was not a TD, forward progress should have been called.
But, it all worked out the way it was supposed to. No way in hell this team deserved to be in the playoffs and we'll be better off with the high draft pick in the long run.

Do not be fooled: we lost because of this terrible call. It was a TD.

I am on record saying that it was a TD
However, in your pic, the only part of the ball you can see isn't over/touching that line because of the arms in the way.
If it was ruled a TD, they wouldn't have overturned the decision either. We know the ball is touching, but you have to see it. You don't have to prove it was a TD, they had to prove 100% that it was a TD because it was ruled a fumble.

what a dumb picture...the ball is behind the line in that picture and you can see that...I hope Saints fans aren't basing their argument that it is "conclusive" based on that

Saints scoring 7 points in the first half gave the falcons the game
The ball was half way across the goal line The refs, the replay official and anyone thinking that the right call was made has their head completely up their B hole. That said the Saints weren't going to win more than 1 play off game anyway, IMO.

It's relatively clear it was a TD. And if it wasn't, it shouldn't have been a fumble.
Regardless, Saints shite the bed - again - in a big game at home this season. KO return to open the game to set them up for a 1-yard TD run, then nothing until that play. It's on the Saints, but the refs doubled up on their ineptitude on that call.
