Where can I get a couple and who has the best? Used to get them in Lafayette but I need to get them in NOLA this year.

I don't know who has them in NOLA, but I've tried them from various other places and none of them measure up to Hebert's in Maurice. Hebert's will ship to you if need be. I've done that a few times.

C & Co uptown

I'd call these guys in the morning, but the place on the wank is a sure shot. Bergeron's in Mandeville has a nice selection as well.

Emmett's on Jefferson Highway in Harahan near the Huey P. Wide Bridge has them with several stuffings. About $12 - $14.

Just remembered Emmett's and was coming to post that, though I've never had anything from there.

But this is better. Do yourself a favor and get the hog heads cheese while there.

Be forewarned - the cornbread that Emmett's uses is the sweet kind. It was good, but I was expecting it to be strictly savory.

Went with emmitt's, got 2 of the last chickens of the season they had on the 23rd. Andouille-cornbread in one and crab in the other. They were a hit and definitely about as good of a stuffed chicken as I've had.
