Make the right moves now!
Posted by bearhc on 12/21/14 at 3:27 pm10
It is time that we make a number of moves to fix our problems. If Ryan cannot get along with Payton, fire him--everyone else has. Put Colston ( I know he has been a great Saint)and Evans on the trading block while they might command some interest. Goodbye to Meacham. Goodbye Ingram (salary cap woes). If I thought I could get two number ones for Brees (he has been a great Saint also) and use one pick for our future QB, I would do it. I would put Lofton on the block for a player or draft choice. Goodbye Robinson and White. Goodbye to our entire defensive staff including Vitt. Goodbye to our director of scouting. We need to build our offensive line with high draft picks. We probably need to sign a veteran corner who cannot only cover but is physical. Loomis also needs to check himself out for paying too much money to certain players. I could go on, but......

To 5Alive. I actually think that the defensive line has talent, but I do agree that they did not produce this year. That is why they need a new no nonsense hard arse to coach them. They do not need some coach that has been fired several times and who goes out to the local bars after wins. The only linebacker who played well was Hawthorne; they are small for NFL linebackers and do not tackle well. The secondary's only bright spot is Lewis. I have to give KV and Byrd another look.
