Where is Tuba, he's been noticeably absent from the cop killing threads. Was he banned again?

Also MIA, Rex and BHP.

So typical, 81. You can't refute my comments, so you are reduced to making inane comments.

Seriously, are you unaware of the comments and actions of the people whom I've correctly accused of race-baiting?

Are you unaware that we've had protests where idiots have been chanting their desire to see dead cops?

Are you unaware of the twitter comments of the scumbag who went out and killed two NYC cops?

Are you truly unable to see how all of this has needlessly ratcheted up anger and hatred toward cops?

Of course, you won't respond to specifics. You never do.

oh yeah I remember when the Tea Party "chanted what do we want? kill somebody now"

oh yeah I remember that, yeah, yeah, that is a fair, honest and accurate comparison

yeah, Thoreau could be thrown into that mix too when he famously said ...government which governs least governs best...' yeah that's the same thing

HDT was a straight race-baiting thug, promoting small government to keep the working man down.

You are a crazy fricking count... Seriously, you are batshit crazy.

Your supposed "comments" had NOTHING AT ALL TO DO WITH ANYTHING I SAID IN THIS THREAD, NOTHING.

And I am aware of ALL of the social media comments... Please give me one example of where Obama, since he seems to be your favorite scapegoat, said that he endorsed the violence and killing of cops.

But again, that has NOTHING to do with my comments in this thread. I guess if you repeat the same bullshite over and over again, it becomes reality in your mind.

I seriously feel sorry for your children

Carol Bundy said her husband is not a violent man, just a person who will protect what he owns. For that matter, so is she. "I've got a shotgun," she said. "It's loaded and I know how to use it. We're ready to do what we have to do, but we'd rather win this in the court of public opinion." Grabbing another fistful of bacon, Arden said he wants to be part of any coming battle. His mother smiled.

They're white and conservative. They get a pass.

On phone, but would be interesting to go Back and see what posters on this board said when it looked like Bundy was going to war with the police

Yup, and if you don't agree with them, then you are showing your political bias or untruthful. It used to be the libs that would make asses of themselves, now it's the other way around.

This happens at least a few times per year. Just wait them out. If their Benghazi rage eventually subsided, this too shall pass.

Board really could use a purge.

Can't have a discussion without someone attacking the opposing side personally and vehemently.

Honest discourse is gone and replaced with Sean Hannity discourse.

Pump the brakes--this article doesn't say that the Florida shooter said on social media that the killing was for revenge. This is what happens when we pull quotes out of context.

In full context:

quote:

His death followed a Saturday afternoon shooting in New York City, where a gunman shot dead two police officers and then killed himself. Authorities said that shooter had indicated on social media that he might seek revenge for recent U.S. police killings of unarmed black men.

They're obviously talking about the NYC shooter, not the Florida one.

Maybe the motive in the Florida shooting was the same, but there's no clear evidence yet that that's the case.

edit: This is also what happens when journalists aren't careful with pronouns. The writer should have said the name of the person and not just "he" so it would be clear who said the killing was for revenge.

he allegedly said he wanted revenge, apparently he identifies more with blacks/minorities than his white half.
Unless you have another link, there is no reason to believe he said he wanted revenge.

edit: btw the link in the OP is broken. Here's a working one: LINK

I think every cop killed over the next year will be obama-holder-deblasios fault....kinda like every assault was the knockout game in 2013.

Let it stew and marinate.....

And then give it a cooling down period. Waiting game is the antidote here.

Based on the shooter's comments, it doesn't sound like this was a revenge-motivated killing.

Christmas has come early for all the cop haters on the board.

There is a vast difference between those who complain about abuses by cops and a growing police state and those who want cops killed right?

I thought maybe the Bundy family were laudable anarchists?

I don't remember the entire events, but he had been grazing his livestock on public lands for generations and the government decided to close it off to him because of some protected (specious) species - many supported his struggle and government control of lands public (read owned by the citizenry of the USA) and private is a common theme in conservative and libertarian politics alike, was then and still is

but, when he came out of the closet so to speak as a bigot; i don't know anyone that associates themselves with the Tea Party nationally, on the local level, or personally that continued to support him, but maybe still support the issue. And I don't think this is what Rick Santelli had in mind when he made his clarion call. but how is this in any way related, or comparable?
