How does the co-op work on Ps4? Can you play couch co-op and be on the same team in a franchise? Looking for something my son and I can play together on PS4.

I'm not really into baseball, just looking for current gen sports games I can play same team in season mode. Never tried a baseball one.

The good news is if you buy MLB 14 The Show, whatever progress you make in terms of franchise, you can purchase MLB 15 when it goes on sale and continue your franchise from '14 into '15.
ETA: I'm not entirely sure on the co-op aspect of things, but I think a better place to look would be Operation Sports
