I never noticed racism while I was there. There was an episode where the student president forwarded an email witha mildly dirty joke that got him in hot water. Even had the local news there, and he didn't even write the email. Was sad that some people are so desperate to be victims of racism

Did you ever notice any black students getting in with lower grades and test scores? Being offered extra study sessions? Getting longer to take their tests? Posters in this thread have said all of these happened and they are all racist.....

Are they letting in mind readers? How would you know the scores and grades of other people?

Wonder if white/Hispanic/Native American students that were struggling ever got offered extra study classes and whatnot....

You know I'm far from racist against blacks and have done my best to be keen to any plight they may have, but this would be complete bullshite l have "secret" classes that you're only admitted to attend according to the color of your skin. I as a white guy would have thrown a fricking fit if not admitted. Especially knowing now at the age of 32 im having a hard time with school for the first time in my life although I'm putting in more time and effort than I ever have before.

Nothing like a good game of Cee-low to pass the time.

I think SFP addressed who got what in the first 3 pages. Its racist towards blacks but I guess they don't care since it benefits them.

I'm not weighing in one way or the other, but I agree there were plenty of people almost wanting to be racism victims there around that time. I'd hoped that had changed but apparently not.

This is the third time in this thread a lawyer has used "is" instead of "are", I thought writing was one of the biggest parts of your jobs?

ETA: I know your grammar is usually spot-on its just funny to see this simple mistake so many times in one thread by smart people

i don't have any. she was a friend of mine, too. i feel like i have to keep adding disclaimers so that people don't try to quote small parts of what i say to make me sound like a racist. that's where discussions on these issues have come.

well the "stats" become a single number, which is why it's singular in my mind

No disclaimers are needed, we know you are only telling what you know to be the truth.
