The author is a pussy pice of shite. There is no institutional racism at LSU law. That guy earned a lot of enemies for good reason with that hack job.

The fact that blacks get in easier than whites proves there is institutional racism at LSU.

heard Southern gets a lot of the white students who don't make it into LSU? ...and there was a black woman that wanted to limit the number of white students going through Southerns law school...she was a state representative I believe.
I believe at one point in the early 90s, the number of white students at Southern exceeded 50%, today it is around 31%. While a lot of the white students are those that could not get into LSU, many are non traditional older students with families and jobs looking to change careers, Southern offers a part time, and night school program. East Baton Rouge Parish DA Hillar Moore and former governor Mike Foster both graduated from the Southern part time programs.

We only had one black male in our graduating class. I don't know about institutional racism, but that was a talk of concern at the time.
The LSU Law Center has a lot of problems right now. Their culture is all wrong, their CSO doesn't do their job, and I believe they are letting go of 7 professors due to budget concerns.
The Law Center needs an overhaul. It sucks to say that, because I personally liked Jack Weiss as a person. He was a great guy to talk to.

That's a good point, and it needs to be said that it happens at almost every graduate institution.

What year did you graduated lsu law? Only one black graduate? That surprises me

One black MALE. How big are the graduating classes?
Posted on 12/21/14 at 11:56 am to BBONDS25
Well, two others I knew failed out the first year. One guy just didn't try, the other just had trouble with the material. The former never came back, and the latter got to reenter as a 1L all over again. He ended up doing very well the second time around, I think. And, to be fair, I think they did the same thing for an older white woman.

Don't know. 200 or so. One black male still surprises me. Must have been a while ago.

Lol no I'm not a dinosaur. I may be wrong. I honestly can't think of a second one, tho.

It does and the fact that it does would make be skeptical about hiring a black attorney. With a black guy you don't know if he only got into and through law school because he was black, you know a white guy earned it.
Like I said earlier, if I was a black person that would have made it through on my own abilities this kind of shite would make me so angry.

Statistically that is about where it should be

Oh man. I could go on an on about what's right and wrong with this article, but I'm gonna pass.

Kyle Alagood is a typical SJW. Loves the sound of his own voice and looks for any reason to claim racism. The lsu law school is the furthest thing from racist and I hope he is ostracized by his classmates for the duration of his time there. Piece of shite.

Alagood is the kind of guy who says, "you don't like me because I'm gay." Nope. No one likes him because he's a douchecanoe.

. I don't remember LSU ever asking me if I was white or black when I applied.
It is a question on the LSAC information you fill out, it also gives you a choice as to whether you want your race to be released to the law schools, I am guessing that those that think it is to their advantage release the information.

Compared to whites, black people get in easier and get more help while they are there. If you don't think that is racist you don't know what the word means.
