I think a lot of people, especially these soft, worthless Millenials running around with their hands in the air, wearing "I Can't Breathe" t-shirts, have no idea what NYC was like in the 70s & 80s. Thanks to Comrade Bill deBlasio, they are about to find out.

So what the hell happened?? I know the choking of the cigarette salesman. What happened afterward? How was the mayor at fault? I honestly do not know and am asking. What was the real or perceived offense.
BTW isn't the shooter just a bat-shite crazy bastard? Killed his wife first? He was going to find an excuse to kill someone else no matter what I would imagine.

This is a guy who came unhinged. He would have killed his girlfriend regardless, unfortunately, but all of the media attention towards Mike Brown et al. undoubtably helped him choose the NYPD as his next target. He indicated this in his Facebook post. The media didn't make the guy kill, but they did help aim the gun.

I agree that this was the act of a crazy person that just used Garner incident as a reason to fulfill his fantasy....
BUT....
I agree with the cops turning their back on De Blasio for this reason....
De Blasio doesn't support them. His showing his respect is solely for P.R. and I can understand the cops turning their backs on De BLasio's feigned attempt to pay his respects.
