Believing City Hall has betrayed them, cops demonstrated their anger Saturday by turning their backs on Mayor de Blasio as he entered a Brooklyn hospital to pay respects to two murdered officers.

shite's about to get real in this country. Good thing Homeland Security bought those billions of rounds of ammo a couple of years ago.

I understand and support this form of protest by the police.

Tomorrow, it would be nice if those that have been promoting all the Ferguson/NYC protests make an attempt to back down on their rhetoric a bit before they create a situation with the police that will turn out poorly for everyone. I'm talking to the Jackson/Sharpton types and the overzealous media which have pushed the narrative rather than just reporting on it factually.

Good for them.

Their blood is on his hands in part.

People who get out and vote solely because they want revenge on a society they perceive as holding them down.

Doesn't matter. Social Justice warriors have blood on their hands for inciting violence among an already unstable, dangerous community.

Why ask a stupid question ?

You should be ashamed of what has BEEN GOING ON for decades.

The whole world laughs at our liberal media and the racist fear mongers in our country.

We are the laughing stock of the world for putting up with this nonsense.

As I stated 20 some odd years ago, when the L.A. riots happened, the National Guard should have been called in, and people should have been given 90 minutes or else we are coming in and kicking azz.

No country can let anarchy rein.

I'm telling you, let this race baited rioting nonsense continue to expand, and I wouldn't be surprised to see some police powers exercised by the Feds.

It mattered enough to edit the OP. But Whatevs.

The police unions aren't Republicans and we do a disservice to the issue to project Republican or conservative values onto them. They'll complain about DiBlasio today and fight to keep a shady piece of shite miscreant on the force tomorrow. Frick the police unions.

Agree 100%. This sort of violence was predictable based on the way things have been going and why. It would be wise for folks to make amends before more shite hits the fan. Unfortunately, I believe the horse is out of the barn.

It won't matter if the guy that shot these police officers was insane. There will probably be a copycat soon. I hate it. The stage is being set.

If you could introspect for a bit, reverse this feeling. This is exactly the same sort of sentiment that some segments have when police act violently towards them with no consequences. You don't see that immediately because your bias is towards law and order (I'm assuming).

The inability to give and take on any issue is really going to be our downfall.

With cops murdering people (and dogs - not saying this as a joke it's really a sickening trend) more and more often, why is anyone surprised that there was finally some retaliation?

It's probably the single most frustrating thing I wrestle with in my mind.

People not only show no capacity to understand another perspective, they have zero desire to do so, and what's most amazing is when they're shown the other perspective they have no way of empathizing with it.

Absolutely every issue, topic, talking point ect is polarized by an individuals political branding.

This is my point. One side versus the other side. White versus black or Dems versus Pubs or cops versus society.

It's extremism on both sides. This is why this stuff is inevitable. People do not look at things honestly. If I do something wrong then I made a mistake. If you do something wrong then it's because you meant to do it. It's how most people think.
