Whats with all the negative Dark souls 2 comments on steam

They all say it is an awesome game but say don't buy it now because the new one coming out next year is in some way screwing current game owners...explain please and should I disregard and buy anyway?

They are releasing a version for xbox 1 and ps4 but I don't think that has any effect on the pc version.

I have it. It wouldn't be bad playing co-op with friends by by yourself, it's extremely repetitive.
Buy Two Towers or RoTK for PS2/Xbox/Gamecube instead. To bad we'll likely never see the EA Lord of the Rings games on Origin/Steam.

War in the north was fun but the end of the game would lag and over heat my system and it wasn't a bad system.
