Considering buying myself some new roller blades for Christmas but don't know where to start. Good brands? Specs? Stores?

Thanks in advance.

Someone suggested Bauers to me but I can't seem to find them anywhere. Anyone here familiar with Bauer?

Rollerblade brand from any local sports Store like Academy should be sufficient.

Brands like Bauer will be much more expensive and a lot stiffer. They are made for roller hockey.

You gotta be careful on them things!!!

You know what's the most dangerous thing about rollerblading?

Telling your parents you're gay!!!

BTW, Bauer is probably the top line skates for recreational use. They make most of the hockey equipment.

I heard this in 1992. Just substitute roller blading with skateboarding.
