Exciting times for Louisiana beer.
We need to revisit our top beers from 2-3 months ago as it has changed a lot with an influx of new beers available.

I would include Wrought Iron, Prytania Porter & Great raft Coffee Brown from this list.

Probably should just make it an annual thing, because the same thing might be true 2-3 months later again and again.

Here is the how the board voted a few months ago.

quote:

01. Parish - Ghost in the Machine
02. Parish - Grand Reserve
03. Great Raft - All My Tomorrows
04. Great Raft - Grace and Grit
05. Old Rail - Cow Catcher
06. Nola - Girl Stout Cookie
07. Bayou Teche - Coteau Rodaire
08. Abita - Macchiato
09. Abita - Bourbon Street Stout
10. Abita - Oyster Stout
11. Chafunkta - Old 504
12. Parish - Dr. Hoptagon
13. Parish - Envie
14. Tin Roof - Parade Ground Porter
15. Parish - Farmhouse IPA
16. Nola - Irish Channel Stout
17. Bayou Teche - Miel Sauvage
18. Bayou Teche - Cocodrie

Tried to read that but I couldn't. Dude sounds like a major douche. Probably on Tin Roof's payroll.

I like his list.

I would have definitely included Old Rail's Cow Catcher Milk Stout and Inertia Imperial IPA on my list. Those guys are doing good work and should be represented.

I really dug both of those over Thanksgiving. Especially the latter one. Hard to cross the water for me, but those beers are solid.

eta surprised no Rougarou on the list. B likes that one, but like he said, competition is definitely getting stiffer. Good thing, IMO

Go back to taking pictures with nutcrackers

Was talking to Scott last night, they wanted to finish up their dry hopping for this weekend but they were a little behind schedule. Maybe next weekend.

I don't know. I am curious to know what kind of beers they will be brewing.

ETA: I'm most excited about that farmhouse brewery near Amite, if it ever happens.

Here's an idea. I guess it means more sessionable? Explains why zealot would think they will wreck stuff.
