7 million or so tourist went last year. Final fours, super bowls, huge music festivals, etc, etc.
And they can't build condos and apartments fast enough in the city. real estate pricing are soaring.
But yep, nobody wants to go to New Orleans.

So you point out rampant ignorance in tourists, etc. Just stay in groups in daytime or well-lit streets in the FQ, uptown. No fear NOPD will keep you safe, if you can find them.
