Arky is actually a pretty bad example for a legitimate criticism. Jennnigs was the only offense we had that game.

People forget that Beckwith started as a DE... and obviously Harris was a true freshman. The situations, and this season, was a matter of having a guy do what he could while the incumbent learned. Also, Welter was a senior and Jennings is a true sophomore.

Not even JR played as a true freshman so that speaks to what the staff thinks of Harris.

Sometime before they graduate, Harris will take the job, but until then

If LSU does not make then playoffs next year, AND brandon harris is not a significant contributor (at least splitting time if he isnt starting), I will bet you $50 we are talking about Les on the hot seat 1 year from now.

The Rant talks about him being on the hot seat on a daily basis.

Everybody seems to overlook the fact that the QB is only half of the passing game. Jennings had to deal with new receivers in 2014 as well. Next year, we will have a seasoned QB and seasoned receivers. This team will see a significant improvement in the passing game in the 2015 season.

Cant argue with that.

When I say we I am saying more than this vocal minority that is the rant will be talking about it.

If you're saying that major media outlets like ESPN, CBS, and the like will label him a hot seat coach then Ill take that bet.

Thats all well and good, when your QB shows he is improving. I don't think I am in the minority when I say I saw a QB that did not improve, and arguably regressed.

And chile, I didnt say anything about media outlets.

I saw a season unfold where defenses realized that the LSU passing attack was not very good therefore, they loaded the box in every game.

This team will be better in 2015, mark my word. Also, the schedule is a lot better.

Right because there is nothing in between a message board that represents <1% of the fanbase and the largest sports network in the world.

I agree that LSU will be better next season. Which is why I said that if LSU does not make the playoffs and its because jennings plays the whole season and we see more of what we saw this year and harris is not involved in the offense as was the case for much of this year, then the average fans patience will be waning to the point that Les will be entering the 2016 season coaching for his job. I dont have an accurate metric so chile1 I guess find me in ayear and I'll give you $50

Having said all this I think the bet is moot because I think that Harris will do what he needs to to prove he can lead this offense and LSU will make the playoffs.

I honestly believe that LSU loses a maximum of 2 games with Jennings or Harris under center. It's gonna be a fun season next year regardless. The stars are lining up for the 4 year pattern championship run.

Never mind if all the kidddies on this message board couldn't handle it. Their opinions are of no concern to anybody but themselves.

Season Ticket holders and the remainder of the Fan Base that go to all of the games in Tiger Stadium and "Pay the Feight" are another story.

The FB will speak loudly when they've had enough.Things will get ugly (Booing and increasingly higher % of empty seats) if the Offense and QB performance are no better in 2015, particularly so being that 3 pretty good JUCO QB's were available to bring in as Insurance Policies and apparently none were seriously considered.

What's the definition of Insanity?

If Jennings starts next year Harris will no longer be in an LSU uni.
