Wanted to go bad, but no place to go. Hell, I had yet to even break out my decoys from last year.

Maybe go deer/pig hunt now that the rain has stopped. If I do that, it will be a walk about hunt. I'm a sneaky SOB in the woods.

Hauling arse up I-49 to Erl City to throw out a pack of hungry beagles. Hopefully little REB can get his first deer in front of hounds. It's a "brown it's down" kinda weekend.

Hopefully we have enough standers to run the big cutover. And with this rain, the dogs should be able to stay on track better than the last couple dry weekends.

Got here early and got my slough on public land in north west MS. Couple guys I know saw birds working it yesterday so maybe I'll get lucky. Dekes are out, now just waiting and keeping other people out.

Could hunt the backyard, but going to another place that is a 10 min drive. Going to have a little fun playing in the mud.
