Listened to the Carpenters Christmas album the other day and was reminded how amazing Karen was. She's in my top 3 behind Aretha Franklin and Mahalia Jackson.

Whitney and Mariah round out my top 5, with Kate Bush and Dusty Springfield getting honorable mentions.
