During the Winter when I leave for a week I usually set it at 60 degrees. What do you set your thermostat on?

In the winter I just turn it off completely unless there is a hard freeze forecast

62 in winter

78 in summer.

Normally 68-69 and 72-74 respectively.

I turn it off completely. If nobody is home why would I spend one cent heating the place to even 60?

I set it to the OFF temperature. Why would you heat or cool a house with no one in it? If it's winter I'll let the faucets drip a bit.

Winter: Set to heat - 60F

Just in the rare case temps drop to below freezing.

*always turn water supply off to the house in case something bursts while we are away*

1 degree higher than normal temp for every day that I am away in the Summer. Winter, it's off. But I live in a summer climate.

I can't turn it off when it will get in the single digits. I'll put it at 58 or something and drip a faucet.

I set mine to 50 when I'm away but then I'm north of Philadelphia. I set it to 60 - 65 while I'm there though.
