just servin da bitches up!!!

don't know,, why?

If we know anything about the left, it is that the VERY FIRST THING you ALWAYS do is categorize everyone by race, class, sex, sexual preference and then proceed from there. After all, if you don't put all of those differences FIRST, how can you be unbiased...

No, it was no accident. But I doubt if the reason for doing so would prove to be very interesting.

Since it was no accident, I want to know what the reason was even if the reason turns out not to be very interesting.

"The fact is, there are many women from a variety of news organizations who day-in and day-out do the hard work of covering the President of the United States. As the questioner list started to come together, we realized that we had a unique opportunity to highlight that fact at the President’s closely watched, end of the year news conference," Earnest said.
This is a total backhanded compliment to the women in the White House press corp. The President/White House is basically saying.....we don't respect you enough to call on you during the year, but for a Christmas present you get to ask a question in the last press conference of the year. Reminds me of the caddies from Caddyshack being able to use the pool once a summer.

War on Women continues with this administration.

He did notify the press beforehand.

Here's a link about it:

The article doesn't say Oduma notified all of the press that only female reporters were going to be called on during the press conference.

It only says, "The television networks were advised in advance that they were not going to be called upon because each of them has asked the President a question at least twice since November, and several of them have had exclusive interviews in that time."

The article does say, "White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest said the move was an intentional way to highlight women reporters."

However, the article doesn't say anything about all of the press being notified beforehand that the press conference was going to be used to highlight only female reporters so no male reporters were going to be called on to ask a question.

Apparently, Oduma thinks the only way he could highlight female reporters is to discriminate against male reporters by deliberately not calling on them.

It sounds like a case of Affirmative Action for female reporters.

If Oduma really wanted to highlight female reporters, a better way would be to have a press conference for only female reporters.

That way, the press media that didn't normally have a female reporter assigned to Oduma's press conferences could send a female reporter to the females only press conference in order to have a chance to ask Oduma a question.

If Oduma did that then all of the male reporters wouldn't waste their time and energy going to the females only press conference since they would know beforehand that Oduma was going to call on only female reporters.

Also, if a male reporter still wanted a chance to ask Oduma a question at the females only press conference then the male reporter could dress up as a woman and claim that even though he/she was born a man he/she self identified as a woman.

Watching Oduma have to call on the cross dressing male reporter when he/she raised his/her hand to ask Oduma a question would have made the press conference very interesting.

Are you saying it is just a molehill when the POTUS deliberately discriminates against male news reporters during his last press conference of the year?

Probably because there weren't enough black reporters there.

Here is a Care2 article about the press conference.

According to the article, the male reporters were NOT informed ahead of time that only women would be called on by Oduma.

quote:

For the final White House briefing of the 2014 calendar year, President Barack Obama informed the press corps that he planned to do something just a little bit different, and dedicate all question slots to those reporters who are less often heard from at the events. What they weren’t told ahead of time was that the reporters in question would be women. All of them.

The article is the usual left wing nonsense.

quote:

Still, there were a few men in the press corps who not only applauded the move to have an all women press conference but, as the event progressed, started to understand somewhat what it feels like to be a female reporter often ignored in favor of her male colleagues. “While I hope it’s not a permanent ban on questions from male reporters, hard to complain about what women reporters have endured for decades,” tweeted Bloomberg News DC Bureau Chief Johnathan Allen.

Doesn't this idiot know there are also a lot of male reporters who never get called on by Oduma during his press conferences.

Some of the comments show how insane these women are.

quote:

Nicely said Marianne C. I would like to send a star again but could not. Women are just as capable of asking leading questions as are men, in fact women think deeper than men . After all how many women run households as opposed to men? Women are used to thinking about everything, men, some of them , not all, only think about their own interests.
Sorry boys, don't be disappointed, just grow up a little. You missed only one conference.

quote:

Men can't stand it (at least lots of them!) when they're not first for anything. Who cares if the President is going to smoke his Cuban Cigar...

Perhaps now some of them have a taste of what it's like for us to see a panel of ALL MEN held on birth control, and women are not allowed to speak.

Get over it. If not for women, none of us would be here. Get your priorities straight!

quote:

Well, it looks like we need more women to be interested in politics and the press corps. We also need more men, not just a (male) President or (male President's First Lady) to support such a forum. Maybe better yet, we could just have electoral votes and state representation be mandated for election based upon equal percentages of race and gender, even creed. Maybe we'd have more voter turnout and for elections of a more representative government (rather than the white male, dominated one we currently have).

These nuts actually want a quota system to make sure that the percentage of women in Congress and the Senate is equal to the percentage of women in the country.

THESE WOMEN ARE frickING CRAZY!!!

You sound just like the crazy bitches whose only come back is to say, "you just need to get laid" every time a man dares to criticize them or disagree with them.

It still won't make people less crazy who think there should be the same percentage of women in Congress and the Senate as the percentage of women in the USA.

Do you actually agree with these sickos who think there should be a quota system so there will be the same percentage of women in Congress and the Senate as the percentage of women in the USA?

Apparently. you are going to continue to mis-characterize me instead of answering my question.

That's par for your loony lefty course.

I'm not surprised that you agree with a bunch of crazy women who wanted the male reporters at the press conference to feel what some women in the past supposedly felt because they didn't get picked to ask the President a question.

After all, birds of a feather flock together.

He doesn't wage war on women or have them in binders, he gives them their due opportunity, as only he, our savior, can.

Soon, only women will be reporters.

It doesn't take much to dye one's hair blonde.

Fox secret, so don't tell anyone. I heard they have one black female and she doesn't have to go blonde.
