Yep, I typically just gather up seeds from a native persimmon tree and plant them in a pot for a few years....once they are big enough, I plant them in the ground where they can get some sun. Never had one not produce....

I also like to scatter some pear, plum, and mayhaw trees, too....you can even throw in some vines like muscadine and blackberry.

It takes decades for it to.all come to fruition, but it is kind of a cool project that provides you with some good fruit!
