if you don't know, slenderman is an internet meme. it was literally created on purpose by the internet for horror stories. it has morphed into an irl meme where people believe that slenderman actually exist and haunt people.

Read details on that in a yahoo article yesterday. Absolutely horrifying. Now the family faces $1M+ in medical bills and sovereign immunity BS on top of it. Both the officer who applied for the warrant and the judge who granted it resigned shortly after, but that does nothing to help the family.
