How does the Rondo trade impact the Pels

In regards to playoff positioning?

Obviously Rondo is a huge upgrade compared to Nelson. But at the same time they lose their best front court back up in Wright which could be damaging especially if Chandler ever struggles with foul trouble. Crowder also is a relatively non-mediocre bench defender. The Mavs wil have a great starting 5 but may struggle some losing 2 of their better bench performers.

They traded bench depth for a PG who hasn't been great since he tore his ACL. His defense is overrated, he's hard to get along with, etc.

They'll be about the same, maybe even worse imo.

They were already making the playoffs so it wont really impact us in whether we make it or not. It does however, piss off rocket fans which is kind of funny

I agree that they are probably in but now they are just an injury away from disaster.
