The Pels currently have played the 5th hardest schedule in the league and by Saturday that will probably be 3rd toughest. Meanwhile teams like San Antonio and Houston are middle of the pack. So that means the Pels schedule should get a bit easier. And it does.

Pels are actually 2-3 in the Division which is tied with San antonio and Dallas. The three losses were all very close games.

Also 9-9 in conference. So we have played more conference games than anyone else sans Sacramento. The games out of conference have been against the best of the east (Cavsx2, Wizards, Hawks). One of the toughest schedules in the league so far. And they are 13-12. I think this team can go on a run in January/Feb when the schedule lightens up. And if Gordon can come back without surgery and play well that would be a massive boost with the Cunningham addition.

Also, Pels have played like 3 or 4 more road games than home games so far so factor that in.

This team is starting to really gel. They just need to stay relatively healthy and they will be in position to make the playoffs

Does make me feel better about what we have accomplished so far but 13-12 is still 13-12..still optimistic though

The east is so bad...and with Boston and Brooklyn about to both blow everything up you may need a .500 record or less to get into the playoffs in the east

I think there's two losses I can think of looking back where I can say I think the Pels were better and really should have pulled out wins and i would feel a lot more confident. That's the first dallas game and the Warriors game at home. Maybe the Wizards game as well. Those might be tough to look back on come April. But they're learning to close out games now. That's huge.

There's a stretch in mid-January when the Pellies can really make a strong surge.

Starting Jan. 12 - Jan. 26, the Pels play nine games with seven coming against Philly, Minnesota, LAL, Boston, Knicks and Pistons.

The other two contests are Dallas at home and Toronto on the road.

8-1?

Yea, they need to dominate in that stretch. If they keep playing the way they have been this past week or so it shouldn't be a problem.

Weren't we beating up Portland at their place pretty bad for most of the game and then lost by like 8 or 9 points in the end?

that's the one i'm talking about. wording was a little confusing. dallas on the road and warriors at home.

as for the portland game, they lost that one by 8 or whatever like you said, so i don't really count that one.

The season for us is like an Olympic track race with a staggered start. It looks like one team is way out in front but you just havent made it out of the turn yet.

Look at January's schedule. Its gonna be a fun month.
