Why does restaurants always have Heinz ketchup in glass bottles?

Plastic is probably cheaper and way easier to pour.

I see a lot of plastic bottles these days at restaurants. But you probably eat at fancier places than I do.

I used to wait tables and we'd refill them until we had to throw them away from fermentation. If the bottle fizzed when opened, time to chunk.
