Rondo and Ellis are both ball dominant and neither are good 3 pt shooters. I dont know if I like this deal for Dallas, tbh. Guess we will have to wait and see

Basically, Dallas is betting the Rondo of recent seasons is aberrational and Boston is betting Wright of the past couple years isn't

You sure are trying hard to convince yourself of something

Because I'm posting comments by NBA writers as they come across my tweetdeck without comment? I'll post positive ones when I see them.
I'm not too worried about it though tbh. This trade doesn't move the needle when it comes to my team.

True, they'll still exit the playoffs in the first round.

Like your team? Grizzlies best player missed 20+ games, so they ended up having to play OKC in the first round took them to 7 games. Didn't have the team's leading scorer for Game 7. Went to the WCF the year before.
They are a game and a half out of first place right now. 13-2 against the West. They have the best record in the NBA since Jan. 1st.

That's a lot of words to admit the Grizzlies have never won shite.

Damn you got me. I'm really going to have to reevaluate things now.

Better than having him walk. Y'all have a ton of draft picks going forward. Plus Bradon Wright is a good upgrade over what y'all have in the paint currently.
Marcus Smart has looked pretty awesome at times too.

On paper that's a helluva lineup but I'm not sure if it's enough balls for he and Monte ellis

Does it matter? Pelicans will be in last place regardless.

On paper it's a good deal, the best we could have hoped for, but Rondo is one of my favorite players and I haz sad he is no longer gonna wear green.

No shite
It's not like divisions really matter at this point

I'm optimistic that this will blow up in the Mavs face. They are due for a move to suck. Not to mention, they have no post presence outside of Tysons Chandler, who isn't a real offensive threat outside of dunks and putbacks. This is risky in my opinion, but I think Dallas thought they needed to shake things up to win a title. Dirk only has so much longer.
