Tell me how life is worse for Americans than it was in 2008 after the crash that was created on bushs watch. Don't worry I'll wait. Let's bring forth the talking points and discuss them. If you can show me some data I promise I will not deny it.

Also, please show my entire quote... I said he carried himself with way more class than I would have

To the OP,

What are the chances you overheard a conversation about the tens of thousands of federal inmates scheduled to be released early due to being re-sentenced to lesser terms of prison as a result of changes to sentences for drug convictions? Were you under the impression that was the same thing as a presidential pardon or clemency?

I hope he pardons every black prisoner in the federal system. The melt will be awesome.

Interesting. Doing so would almost assuredly harm black communities at MULTIPLES of the rate it would harm white communities.

Talk about cutting off one's nose to spite their face.

How does his record on pardons compare to the last four presidents, at this stage in their terms?

They all wait until their last couple of weeks on the job for the most part.

It'll definitely be in the thousands. Probably not tens of thousands though. Prisoners incarcerated in federal institutions for non-violent crimes who have served at least 10 years already, have clean records while in prison, and no significant violent acts in their background before the charges they were convicted and currently in prison for, will qualify for the clemency program announced earlier this year.

You sure about that? Clemency?

Yes, I am absolutely sure. Executive clemency can take the form of either a pardon or a commutation. And the information I posted is accurate.
