Good. frick them.

At my high school there was a group of students who walked out during semester exams and left school to "protest the curriculum testing in the US" and every one of them failed their classes. They complained and complained then got their parents involved to try and convince the school to let them retake the exams. School said no and one girl lost a bit of potential scholarship money because her GPA dropped so far.

IMO, they deserve whatever they received.

"You get out what you put in." That's what one of my Finance professors in college told us one day during class.

"You don't have to come to class, you don't have to study or take the tests. You can do whatever you want but if you don't want to invest your time, don't expect to receive dividends.

There's no such thing as free because somewhere, someone else is paying for it somewhere in the process, and in this situation, that someone will be you. Only you can determine what's valuable to you.

Showing up to class, putting in the time to study and grow means your investment of your time means your future is valuable to you because your trading all of the other things you could be doing right now by investing in your future. You get out what you put in."
