Ehh. The perk of this is that it has styles and their serving temp programmed. You select the wine, it chills to the temp. I'm not big into wine, it was a gift. I've used a few times and liked it. Takes some time to chill, but also nice for keeping the wine at a temp.

A little noisy is another drawback to me. Has a fan that runs. If its tucked away in a bar, not that bad. My current setup makes the noise a bigger factor than it could be.

i've no idea, but if you drink a lot of wine and you store a lot of wine, it's a good investment ... i drink a lot of wine, but i don't store it ...

Get it if thats what you think he will like.

I only drink wine when I am out of other shite and the fiance only drinks small amounts of white wine. Some may say we dont need it and we may not but I want one because the bottles we do have take up room in my fridge.

Go for a dual zone unless he only drinks whites or reds.
