So Jason won because clean didn't follow the rules and did his own style on the final tattoo. That being said, Cleen's tattoo was bad fricking arse and Jason's looked kinda funny. Cleen has been amazing all season and no one in their right mind would pick Jason over Cleen for a tattoo. Well, I would let Jason do his reaper because that one was awesome but outside of that Cleen has been so much better. I was a little annoyed that Jason won after being inconsistent at best all season.
Eric, should avoid putting his fricking roses into his weird designs also.

Wait, what? How in the hell Cleen not win?! That tells me that if Josh didn't smoke tree, he would have won.

Cleen was told to do a Color Realism tattoo and it wasn't color realism it was more new school. It was a way better looking tattoo but Jason did a correct tattoo and Cleen didn't. One judge picked Cleen and the other 2 picked Jason.
Jason also was the viewer winner so he raked in. He had the most votes over the entire season.

Cleen was robbed. He was hands down the best tattoo artist on the show. Jayson should be kissing Josh's arse for getting kicked off the show. Jayson would have never made final three if Josh were still on the show.

i have heard rumors that he did more than just smoke pot that was against the rules. But the producers of the show didn't want what he did to be known.

Josh did excellent work. Jason would probably made the final 3 over Eric but it would have been close. They probably knew the voting numbers of the viewers and would have kept Jason over Eric probably.

I agree that Cleen had the best tattoos throughout the show, but I actually liked Jason's back tattoo the best. I think the producers wanted a surprise winner because the last several seasons had a clear front runner who ran away with it. Since Cleen's tattoo was clearly not photorealism, it made sense to have Jason win.

Cleen was the best/most consistent through the entire season, so he should have won.

I was actually really impressed with Jason's tat. Didn't think he could do that. But such total bullshite that cleen didn't win. Dude dominated all season.
Season one they made final decision off total body of work. Tommy should have won that season
And josh was really good. I personally liked Cleens stuff a little better but it was close. They were by far top 2

Dude, I like Jason and his reaper was damn good but the back tattoo Cleen did was sweet looking.

But as was alluded to by one of the judges... What's the point of having the final tattoo if all you're going to do is choose the winner based off the previous 14? (Or however many there were).
While I agree that Jason struggled throughout the season (same as the last season he was on), he did what he had to do to get into the final 3 and then did what the other two failed to do- he nailed the challenge!

Yep.
Cleen's wasn't even close to photo realism. Jason's was new age, like he was supposed to do. I thought Cleen's was one of his poorer efforts.
Sincle Cleen screwed the pooch, Jason deserved to win. That 3rd place guy's tattoo was just bad, and he should feel bad.

Ink Master properly did what Top Chef (tom c) repeatedly fails to do: they rewarded the best tattoo instead of the best tattooer.
Or in Top Chef's case, they repeatedly protect the best cook even if they cook the worst dish that night.
Jason won and deserved it.
