I'd have Maine Dinner very high in my GOAT rankings.

You know how when you drink a beer too much you start to dislike like it ? I think I fricked up and did that with goat.

I definitely did this with hopslam. I have family in upper michigan, and they sent me a case of Hopslam. It was hard to drink the whole case while it was still fresh. By the end of it I was like eh...what's the big deal. Now January is here and i want more!

Thank god for my NH mule.

He was supposed to get more Dinner bottles that time, but they had to lower the limits from 12 to 4 per person when too many mules showed up.

I'd love to do more cross country trading to be able to try new and different beers, but ultimately it costs way more than I'm willing to spend. Paying so much for shipping would break me.

Nice stance against frivolous spending the day after doling hundreds on dollars on a bottle of bourbon.

I actually sold it to my brother for what I paid for it. I would've loved to keep it, but I can't justify spending that on alcohol. He just had to promise he'd let me have a taste

I trade homebrews with some TDers a couple times a year and that is enough shipping costs and hassle for me. I'm lazy and that stuff takes a few minutes to properly pack up and then you have to pay to ship it.

I know I will not be going to Nashville without a box of home brew and hopes for a trade

bingo. the beer you ship to someone if you have to buy it is easily 20-50 bucks depending on the beer and the amount. shipping it and shipping material is anywhere from 15-30. So you are averaging like 50-100 just to ship the beer. I was shipping out at some points 2-3 packages a montth, and add to that shite i was buying myself to drink from out of town. Proably like 300 a month was spent on beer. Basically a car note.

wasn't worth it anymore once LA stepped up their game and got more shite imported and brewed here.
