Not having a defensive coordinator hurts A&M. Otherwise, they'd be the clear leader for Malik.

It's odd that she "likes" UCLA, but doesn't mention the campus. However, getting to see a $23k purse and meeting a celebrity are apparently something she'll never forget.

they have had a 16 rank class in 2012, 9th in 2013 and 5th in 2014.....thats pretty decent in recruiting...yet they are still up and coming ? there recruiting is up and coming but hasnt shown on the field...not against LSU anyway

Woah, wut?? How did we drop the ball on a huge recruit like Malik? This seems so contrary to what other highly ranked recruits say about LSU.

While I can believe some of it, I really dont buy all of it. Sounds like she is just using one of many "reasonable" excuses to take LSU out of the running. I have read all along mom wants him close to home and it sounds like her blinders were on the whole time. I hope he goes to Austin.

He said she told all the parents it was a great time and she enjoyed herself. Plus it would be quite an accomplishment to get to Tiger Stadium without ever seeing campus.
