yeah, just so many stories like that...I had a group of black kids come in take up a 12 top, order one entrée, and one sprite (free refills) and just kept sharing the sprite...unbelievable. Not that I minded, but I was too busy to sit there at their table and just keep refilling the sprite...only time my manager sent them out of the door.

it's not the no tipping, that's infuriating, it's the sending shite back, asking for something every 2 seconds, then changing your minds, etc. black tables will work you harder, and then either not tip, or tip very poorly.

just the way it goes...personally, if there were a restaurant geared towards gays, the servers would make a fricking killing.

I think in my entire life, a table I've been seated at has only ever sent something back once. Inedible super salted eggplant parmesan I think it was. I didn't even realize trying to get free shite at a restaurant was a thing. Finding this out makes me feel like I need more black friends. *reflects on life so far*

*ETA: i grew up kind of poor so i used to do all sorts of shite i'd feel bad for now. i guess "restaurant hack" is a bit of a reach. but once i grew up and realized how much that made me appear like a poor person, i got really careful about what i did to avoid that label
