Parsons has been beasting the last several games. He DGAF what the Mavs do to improve.

That was me taking a shot at him being bitter that Houston was looking for a third star when he was there.

So the Mavs would have at PG:

Felton, Devin Harris, JJ Barea, Rajon Rondo, and Jameer Nelson. Nice Dallas. Team of PG's impossible to defend.

The Western Conference playoffs are already going to be mind-blowing. If this happens, all bets are off for the stretch run.

Felton hasn't played a single minute, but yeah it's like 2011 all over again when Barea comes off the bench. not to mention Devin Harris has been balling outrageous

How exactly would this make them better? Rondo has been garbage this year. Shooting 40/25/33. Yes 33% from the line. Dallas has the best offense in the league, is top 5 in assists already, and has the best bench player in the league in Brandan Wright. Dude is in the top 5 in PER. Every other player in the top 10 is a future hall of famer.

So they should decimate their bench and 3 point shooting and spacing so that they can get a little quicker on D and some experience on a team that doesn't need it? Good luck with Al-Farouq as your 6th man.

I'd rather Rondo and Josh Smith go to Sac Town and team up Boogie.

1 or 2 of those guys would have to go to Boston to make the salary cap numbers work.

Mavs pull off this trade, they have the best starting 5 in the league. Period.
Whether or not that means another championship run is much more in doubt. fricking west is staaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaacked.

I'm a diehard Mavs fan and I agree with this. Chandler is a legit big man defender, outside of him the Mavs have ZERO help protecting the rim. Memphis duo of Randolph and Gasol would literally sport boners at the prospect of playing the Mavs in the playoffs.

ETA: Mavs should not include Wright in this trade.

Who would you suppose they include? Should they land Rondo for free?

I think Wright is off limits. They have no back up center without him. They do have a shite ton of guards on the roster.

The guards are all pretty terrible, outside of Ellis.
