He switches his pivot foot so he can lead forward to get the shot off. Really nothing confusing about it......

Seriously. I'm rooting for Memphis, but it's absolutely ludicrous to not call traveling on that.

I didn't think it was that bad, especially in the NBA. Manu probably gets away with at least a couple of those every game that are worse than Gasol's. I don't have a problem with that not being called at all.

I honestly dont see him change his pivot foot at all. Looks like he keeps the left foot down the whole time

Seriously though his left stays down the whole time. What am I missing?

He lifts his left right before he shoots. Obviously it's never going to be called in the NBA, but it's a travel nonetheless

Definitely a travel.

That is actually a legal move

"g. If a player, with the ball in his possession, raises his pivot foot off the floor, he must pass or shoot before his pivot foot returns to the floor. If he drops the ball while in the air, he may not be the first to touch the ball."

Wasn't that the first 3 he's attempted all year? I though I heard Brevin Knight say that last night. And is it just me, or do they seem to be using Knight alot more than they use Sean Tuohy these days?

You're correct. It was not a travel.
