Best pickup from this sale for me is Prison Architect. Game has more depth than I expected and is quite challenging.

I can second this.

Been playing this game for quite some time, and didn't realize it was on sale. It is an ABSOLUTE steal at only 6 bucks.

Unfortunately it is only at that price for another hour and a half.

Has anyone played Endless Legend? It's from the creators of Endless Space. I'm on the fence about it.

Another gem in the rough is up for sale.

Papers, please is on a 75% discount down to 2.50

quote:

"Congratulations.
The October labor lottery is complete. Your name was pulled.
For immediate placement, report to the Ministry of Admission at Grestin Border Checkpoint.
An apartment will be provided for you and your family in East Grestin. Expect a Class-8 dwelling.
Glory to Arstotzka

The communist state of Arstotzka has just ended a 6-year war with neighboring Kolechia and reclaimed its rightful half of the border town, Grestin.

Your job as immigration inspector is to control the flow of people entering the Arstotzkan side of Grestin from Kolechia. Among the throngs of immigrants and visitors looking for work are hidden smugglers, spies, and terrorists.

Using only the documents provided by travelers and the Ministry of Admission's primitive inspect, search, and fingerprint systems you must decide who can enter Arstotzka and who will be turned away or arrested."

It is a game simple in premise but very well polished, that also has the added pressure of you getting paid by the number of immigrants correctly processed, which needs to be budgeted to feed and house your family. It's a minor thing that takes a few seconds every "day" but it builds the pressure to get as many processed each day.

Outlast is $4.99. I've not played a ton of survival horror, but this game has always looked intriguing. Opinions?

My opinion is that I don't like horror games.

Its not bad. Solid story led to a disappointing ending. Some jump scares and tense moments but didn't meet my expectations. Started strong. Finished Weak. It's the New Orleans Saints of survival horror

Racking up so far:

Saints row IV
Shadowrun: Dragonfall
Transistor
Portal 2
Borderlands 2
All received as gifts

I picked up portal for $2.50 I think

Still plan on getting:
Civ 5
Divinity: Original Sin
The walking dead season 2

Maybe snag Rocksmith and 3dmark while I'm at it. Also Shadow of Mordor if the price comes down.
