but in recent days at least one person familiar with his thinking said he was at least "considering it."

Very convincing.

The NFL reporters are backtracking. For weeks, they have been running their mouths about how this was an impossible scenario.

Both schefter and Rapapport at one point said no way was it going to happen. Now BOTH are saying it very well might.

Interesting, for sure. If he decides to stay in the NFL, shite gets real for Miles.

If the UM search falls apart, as many searches do, Miles might be the default choice. "Momma's calling, Les. And she's in a world of hurt."

So agents are telling ESPN that JH is considering the UM job. Agent bumps his client's bid and ESPN gets a story. Round and round we go.

It's almost for sure not happening.

Probably just another guy not wanted to offend his alma mater.

Obviously I meant University of Michigan as "momma." Not his biological mother.

Why would "shite" get real for Miles? He has stated that he's not interested in the job. And if he is interested and it's offered to him, then it's his choice to accept or decline the offer. Whatever he chooses to do, I wish him success where ever he coaches next year.

Who leaked this offer? Jim did because Michigan sure as hell didn't. Why would Jim leak this info if he wanted the job? He won't go to Michigan because he wouldn't have leaked it otherwise.

guess firing the general manager of the 49ers doesn't mean anything.

No College Coach is worth 8 Million. Give me a researcher who's trying to cure Cancer or something over someone who is a baby-sitter to teen, self entitled prima donnas who could give a shite about getting an education.

Agreed, there are consequences to spiraling payrolls. Such as spiraling ticket prices or reduction in school revenue.

Honestly, if you look at what Saban's tenure @ UA has done for the University & Tuscaloosa as whole, you could make the statement that he deserves more.
